As I look back on my life, I realize I have been practicing interior design since I was a child. From rearranging and organizing my room, to studying house plan magazines and drawing up floor plans on graph paper as a teenager, I have always had a passion for making spaces beautiful, creative, and functional. Through raising and homeschooling my five children, I have grown in my passion for nurturing the home environment and realization of the impact interior design can have on individuals and families alike. I pursued an education in interior design through completing my Associate of Applied Science in Interior Design Degree through Century College in White Bear Lake, MN and through internships. I started Home & Haven Designs out of my desire to practice interior design as a small business out of my home, since home is where my heart is.
